Hi all-
Well, here's the lovely knee...it's been an experience, I'm finally feeling back amongst the living! Even though I still spend most of my time on the couch, I am definitely getting up and around more and getting stronger and stronger. My walker makes me feel like I'm 80, but I'm happy to have it at this point as it makes me feel safe and stable when I walk. I walked with a cane today with my therapist and that went very well, but he wants me to have supervision for a while on the cane and so I can't give up the walker quite yet!
I owe many thanks for all the phone calls, cards, meals, visits in the hospital...I could have never made it through this without my wonderful family and friends! I love you all!!!
I've missed all the blogging - it appears that January is not a big blogging month as there haven't been many updates. I check every day though as I am getting bored with the couch routine! So, if you have anything to blog, give me some new reading material - PLEASE!! :-)

Wow, when you say lovely, you really mean lovely, huh?! :o) Glad you're feeling back among the living. It's rough hanging around all day for weeks... even though it sounds fine! ;o)
WOWZA! that must take some MAJOR pain meds to get over! Y-ouch! You are a TROOPER! I've got a package on the way so keep an eye out! We love you!!!!
Oh yah, I forgot to say, I would have never made it thru this without friends, family and DRUGS!! :-)
