Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July everyone!!  I can hear the boats out on Lake Huntoon already, we have a beautiful day here...going into a beautiful weekend!!  The rains have ended for a while, so we are all ready to enjoy!!  

Last night we had a little pre-4th golf game.  I have to admit, this is the first time I've ever taken my camera on the golf course!  We were all evaluating ourselves when we got these on the computer last night, kinda funny!  Now they will probably want me to bring my camera every time :-)    My game has definitely gotten better this year, but all in all, I still suck!

Dan and Aaron take it much more seriously than I do...last night was a challenge to keep my mouth shut and stop moving while they were taking their shots...I'm usually better than that, but I was all wound up last night...go figure.  Must be the approaching holiday weekend and no work for 3 days that did it!!

Here are some pics- no comment on the form...Aaron got a number of butt shots of me while I was placing my ball...I did you all a favor and left those off  ;-)

Grilled Pizza Rustica!

WXYZ had this chef on today making this great pizza on the BARBECUE!!  Looks great, thought maybe Kel could try this one out on Patrick!  Here's the link for Grilled Pizza Rustica - they had veggies and grilled shrimp and tomatoes....you can put anything on it!!  Let us know if this looks appealing Kel.  I have some other online recipes that I'll send ya in email!

Aaron & Jenny go to Camp!

I mean, go camping...  :-)

Aaron and Jenny went up north last weekend camping.  They got some rain, but Aaron's new tent kept them dry!  Looks like a pretty place, lots of trees!

Obviously, they went canoeing...Aaron said there were lots of canoe-ers out there...and Aaron had to donate a couple of beers to a flipped over canoe...

AND, of course, they didn't get nice quiet neighbors...oh no, they were across from a bachelor party!  So they decided to join them rather than fight it...so I think they had a late night of partying!  Seemed like they came home with a lot of food, so I wonder how the barbecuing went?? I know they made hobo pie pizzas, said they were good!

This is one of their bach party neighbors...oh yah, with a blow-up doll...nice touch...

Sarah posted pics of the wedding shower she gave this weekend on her blog, and a beautiful shower it was...here are some behind the scene pics.  We are getting much better at this, it all went very smooth - no stress!

It's not ALL about food...

It's all about food and shopping though pretty much!  I just have to tell you that McDonald's Southwest Salad is back!!  I loved this salad last year, it was a great salad to get on the run...but then it disappeared off the menu and I was trying to get Julie to put in a good word to Ronald McDonald for me...BUT, lo and behold it's back!!  Anyway, give it a try, best fast food salad I've had!!   Maybe if more of you would buy it - it would stick around for longer!
